1.     There are two types of fuse. Check if the fuse installed in the product is appropriate for your car. If not, unscrew it and replace it with the other one.

2.     The fastener  must be attached to a metal part on the auto body in order to get electrical current.

3.     Check that the socket is working properly by testing it with an electric appliance. If the power indicator of the appliance lights on, it indicates the socket is properly installed.
